I got a HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15-b129wm Sleekbook with Windows 8 pre-installed. I got Windows 7 installed.via a special authorized download of Windows 7 Setup. But I cannot connect to Internet. Diagnostic test says, 'Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter.' If you have a network adapter, you will need to re-install the driver.'
HP does not have a driver for HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15-b129wm Sleekbook. Is there a workaround? Another person had a similar issue, but I could not understand the solution.
Please note that Windows 7 is already installed. Thanks for any help on this matter.

I am having problem with Qualcomm Atheros AR8151 PCI-E-Gigabit-Ethernet-Controller (NDIS 6.30) as well. This began after I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I am able to use wireless network just fine but not the Ethernet / wired connection. Latest downloads from Atheros in Network Card. Sort by: last update. HP ENVY 4-1100 Atheros WLAN Driver 1.00 for Windows 8.1 64-bit 5 downloads.
